Spring 2007

Well we have been very busy since Christmas - with new students, new features being introduced and new qualifications coming on board.

We have had so many new bookings in January and February - that in March we had to close our intake for that month.

We are planning to have just 2 more start dates - one in April and one in June before September - our biggest intake for the whole year.

As our courses are tutor led - it is important that we can maintain our fast turnaround of feedback to our students - to ensure their courses are kept buoyant and students feel they are progressing well.

March was also our main exam month - so our students from Cornwall to Scotland were sitting their exams most weeks in March.

Our next main exam month will be June - which sees our legal students sitting their exams in the North, Midlands and with us here in the Southwest.

Our other students will be sitting their Level 2 and Level 3 Secretarial Diplomas, as well as shorthand speed exams.

Clait Plus and Clait Advanced

OCR announced recently a change in the way they will accept assessment for these 2 exams.  Students can now complete their assessments remotely ie at work or home and submit their entry through ourselves - which will save on travelling to a test centre.

This means that it makes it even easier to gain nationally recognised qualifications through distance learning!

Our new Course Resource Section on the WWW

Although we use email to communicate with our students - we have now introduced a fast and easy way for our students to download their course material from our Course Resource Section.

Students can download several files easily including MP3 files used for shorthand and audio teaching as well as the various range of practice papers to help prepare students for their exams.

Now it is Easter already - and time to have a rest.  We are closed for 2 weeks over Easter and then ready to start again mid April.
