If you are a qualified Secretary now looking to specialise in Medical Secretarial work, you will need to develop your knowledge and understanding in Medical Terminology.
The AMSPAR/City & Guilds Medical Terminology Award is a key qualification required for Medical Secretarial positions.
You will be studying for the following:

You can study this course full-time, or part-time – studying the number of hours per week that suits you and fits in with your other commitments.
We recommend that you study at least 5 hours a week, which can be broken up into one hour study slots perhaps, or 2-3 hours on a Saturday and Sunday if you find that easier.
Some students wish to study as quickly as possible – and complete the course in as short a time as possible.
