Overview

Creating mail shots is a very useful skill for marketing departments, as well as sending out to multi-recipients standard letters and other documents which may form a regular task in your job role.

Word has an extensive Mail Merge feature within its program and learning how to use this effectively will be a bonus for a wide range of different office roles.

There are 2 Levels to choose from.  Level 1 is for complete beginners and Level 2 is suitable for those with a working knowledge of Word.

Touch typing can be included in any of these courses to help develop your touch typing and speed typing skills. This is a free option for all of our Secretarial Courses.

This level is suitable for those who have already passed the Level 1 Mail Merge exam, or who have worked using a range of different Word tools in the office environment.

At this level you will develop your mail merge skills to a business standard, editing complex data files following instructions, creating main document templates, matching selected files to perform selected mail merges, creating labels, and creating new data files.

Exam preparation is included in the course.

Examination is by a timed exam of 1 hr 30 minutes through completion of 4 Tasks.
